Manav Kalyan Yojana 2023

  • This scheme to assist small entrepreneurs provides a toolkit of tools/equipment materials to economically backward groups to generate adequate income and self-employment opportunities. This scheme has been introduced since 1995 to replace the earlier Swarojgar Yojana for the economic upliftment of artisans living below the poverty line. It provides business tools toolkit for 28 types of businesses like feria, vegetable seller, carpentry etc. to create self-employment opportunities for the weaker sections of the society to create self-employment opportunities for people from weaker sections of society whose family income is below the prescribed limit.


Income limit

In this scheme following two conditions are kept for income limit.

1} In order to avail this scheme, beneficiaries from rural areas should be included in poverty line list of District Rural Development Department, such beneficiary need not submit income proof..

Or.

2} To avail the benefit of this scheme the annual income of the applicant’s family should be up to 1,20,000 for rural area and 1,50,000 for urban area without fail to submit income proof from Taluka Mamlatdar or Municipal Chief Officer or authorized officer of Municipal Corporation in Mahanagarpalika..
