Bank of Baroda apprentice recruitment 2026

The official Bank of Baroda (BOB) Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification has been released under Advertisement No. BOB/HRM/APPRENTICE/ADVT/2026/01. The bank is hiring 5,000 apprentices across various states and union territories in India for a 1-year training period

Online applications are open from 19 May 2026 until 8 June 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their forms directly through the Bank of Baroda Careers Portal

🎓 Eligibility Criteria (As of 01 May 2026)

  • Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit applies to reserved categories (OBC, SC, ST, PwBD) per Government of India guidelines. 
  • Educational Qualification: A Graduation degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university or institution. 
  • NATS/NAPS Condition: For candidates registering via the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), the graduation passing date should not be more than 4 years preceding the cut-off date (i.e., passed on or after 01 May 2022). 
  • Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient (read, write, and speak) in the local language of the state they are applying for.

💳 Application Fees

Fees must be paid entirely online based on the candidate’s category: 

  • General / OBC / EWS (Male): ₹800
  • General / OBC / EWS (Female): ₹600
  • SC / ST / PwBD: ₹200 

📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection will be conducted through an Online Objective Written Examination, followed by Document Verification (DV) and a Local Language Test

The online exam features 100 questions for 100 marks, with a duration of 60 minutes. Notably, there is no negative marking

💰 Training Duration & Stipend

  • Duration: 12 Months (1 Year) 
  • Monthly Stipend: Candidates placed in Metro/Urban branches receive ₹15,000 per month. Candidates placed in Rural/Semi-Urban branches receive ₹12,000 per month
  • Note: This is an apprenticeship training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and does not guarantee permanent employment or additional allowances (like DA, HRA, or medical benefits) in the bank.

  1. Register on the Apprenticeship Portals: Prior to applying on the bank’s site, ensure you register yourself on either the NATS Portal or the NAPS Portal.
  2. Visit Official Careers Page: Navigate to the official Bank of Baroda Careers Portal.
  3. Fill Application Details: Click on the apprentice recruitment banner, complete the primary registration, and log in to fill out the educational details and state/location preferences.
  4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your passport-size photograph, signature, and necessary educational/caste certificates.
  5. Pay Application Fee: Make the fee payment online using an authorized payment gateway.
  6. Submit and Print: Preview your application form, submit it, and download/print the final application receipt for future reference.
