The online registration process is actively open, and the deadline has been officially extended until 15 June 2026.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria (As of 1 April 2026)
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years. Standard upper age relaxations apply to reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) according to government norms.
- Prior Experience: Applicants must not have undergone any previous apprenticeship training, nor should they possess more than one year of post-graduation job experience. []
📝 Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of three major stages:
- Online Written Test: A computer-based exam covering General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude, alongside General English. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates must clear a proficiency test in the specified local language of their selected state (unless they provide 10th or 12th marks sheets proving they studied the language).
- Medical Examination: A medical assessment strictly aligned with SBI standards.
💰 Stipend & Training Period
- Duration: The engagement is strictly for a training period of 1 year.
- Stipend: Selected candidates receive a fixed stipend of ₹15,000 per month.
- Note: This is purely a training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and does not guarantee permanent employment or a full-time job within SBI. However, completed apprentices get relaxation benefits/weightage in future SBI Junior Associate (Clerk) recruitments.
