Gujarat Samaras Hostel Admission 2023: For the academic year of 2023 24 students from Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Scheduled Caste Socially and Educationally Backward Class and Economically Backward Class studying in College Level Graduate Post Graduate and Higher Courses Ahmedabad Bhuj Vadodara Surat Rajkot Bhavnagar Jamnagar Anand Himmatnagar And online applications are invited from all students seeking admission in Patan Samras Kumar and Girls Hostels on official website – www.samras.gujarat.gov.in by 25th June 2023.
Important notice.
- For fresh admission in any year or semester in all drama level courses admission will be done on the basis of merit based on the percentage of 12th standard and in post graduate level courses percentage on the basis of which the percentage obtained admission to the University (Note : A student with 50% or more marks should have been obtained)
- Renewal students who have got admission in previous year in Samaras hostel also have to apply online compulsorily Renewal students of Group II and Group III who want to stay in the hostel in the second year should have 55% or more in the last two semesters percentage in the last two semesters as per university approved calculation in the last annual examination. Must have obtained marks equivalent to 55% or more in case where grades are awarded instead of percentage Percentage will be 50% for Group One renewing students.
- A student cannot claim admission on the basis of online application. As the provisional merit list for admission based on online application is published, the students who get the place in it have to verify the original certificates at the concerned Samaras hostel within the time period mentioned on the website, after which the admission will be decided by the concerned Samaras hostel if a student is found in the percentage filled in the online form and the percentage of the original mark sheet
- . And if there is a difference in the qualification certificates, the admission of such student will be canceled.
- Only the student studying in the college of the same district in which the Samaras hostel is located will be eligible
